Taking delivery...

Finished!   The new model Albion Chieftain flatbed for Port Appin BRS is painted, signed and detailed.  In this dual cameo pic you have to imagine the crofter is taking delivery of a Fergie T20, the old one having finally given up the ghost but it will be a donor vehicle for spares for many years to come.  I last saw one working - not preserved -  near Connel Bridge in 2013.  (See extra). There were over half a million Ferguson T20 tractors built between 1946 - 1956, 60% were exported around the world.

Many thanks for all stars and hearts for yesterday‘s anniversary Blip.
