Foggy morning

Foggy morning turned into a gorgeous bright but cold day. Went out first thing to take a few pics. The extra is Downham station. It's not so dangerous as it looks as there is a crossing where I took the picture but I still got the unnerving feeling that the Kings Cross bound train would come hurtling out of the fog at any moment. 
We spent the rest of the day indoors as we've decided to wait until the coldest day of the year to experiment with the stove. It's a multi fuel and we've always used logs in it so we're attempting to burn smokeless coal in it. I think we could improve on our attempts so far. To make things more complicated this stove is a double sided double depth stove so venting it is more tricky than usual.
