Make Way For Pelicans

I had quite a choice of images today: lots of pelican shots, because who can resist these prehistoric creatures? Earlier in the day we were both out in  the back yard trying to photograph the strange large frozen raindrops on the broccoli. And much later there was the incoming storm (Extra) as we hot-footed it up the hill from downtown, hoping to avoid getting soaked. (We got home just in time; if we'd lingered any longer over the sidewalk sales and holiday mayhem it would have been a different story.) 

The only problem with having a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at someone else's place is No Turkey Sandwiches the next day...
