In Memoriam

This is an emergency blip as the few photos I had taken on a dreich, sleety and grey day were not at all sharp as I had too low an ISO and too wide an aperture. I am sure we have all experienced that sinking feeling you get when you come to look at your photos on the monitor only to realise that you have made a basic mistake in the capture by shooting on your previous settings when the lighting was totally different.

This is a bloom out of a bunch of white flowers given to my wife by her close friend, Frances as a gesture of support after Layla's death. I don't know what the flowers are but they are really beautiful (sort of rose-like but definitely not roses).
