downy woodpecker

Today was a cloudy cold day. The wind started to pick up as we have a storm coming in tomorrow. I got out for a walk this afternoon and spotted this downy woodpecker as I got down to the lake. There was some birds around but not too many. Tomorrow the storm could bring rain freezing and and ice pellets. It might be a walk in the storm tomorrow to get a blip
