Top Competitors

What a day! We got up at 6:00 AM and got started Geocaching about 8:00 AM. We were successful in finding 10 Geocaches and had a few we couldn’t find. Those were so frustrating!

The successes were fun. There was one cache named Footloose which was in a plastic foot in the middle of the woods. Another one required the use of water to get the cache to make an appearance. One of our favorites brought us to a little crossroads with an old fashioned store. The cache was very unique and there was a cat who came to see what we were doing! While we were there, a couple stopped by and asked if we knew anything about grass seed. We then gave them a mini-explanation of Geocaching.

Willy and Ellen had a fierce competition to see who could be the first one to find each Geocache. This picture is when Ellen’s bad luck changed and she made her first find of the day. They ended the day with a tie of 4 to 4. I ended the day as the loser with only 2 first to finds but I am fine with that because I had so much fun.
