Big Day

Today Mr Rat was 65 and retired from paid ministry in the church.
We started the day with parkrun where he wasn't just the first >65, he was first >60 - a while since that happened.
After chat in the cafe it was home where there was still frost on the front door, though the temp had gone up a few degrees from the -6 earlier. 1st extra.
After lunch he went for another run and I planted a few trees in the woods where we often run, trees I think I helped put in pots last Spring.
Then home and changed and arrival of daughter and family before off to church for a "do". Food, chat, some short speeches and present opening, a really good evening.
The grandchildren wanted to help with the presents, (2nd extra) and the main is him displaying one of them. Others were some art materials and gift vouchers.
