The garden's seasonal colours

Brrr, what a difference a week makes ! The temperature difference between last Sunday in Singapore and this Sunday in The Netherlands is really big !  It has been freezing overnight for two nights in a row and today during the day the temperature didn't get above 4C either, plus there was a cold, cold wind ! Not really nice to roam outside with the camera.  All kinds of shrubs and trees are letting their remaining leaves drop in one go, but this shrub, a mini rhododendron, I think, is still going strong.

As we're now already in the last month of this decade !! this coming Thursday, like all first Thursdays of a new month, there is no theme. I'm looking forward to all your abstracts.
