Between fen and mountains

This field needs a shave or some ploughing.  I went to the small Church in the next village and saw the four restored gilded wooden angels that will feature on the Repair Shop programme in the spring.  They look very good. I made some bread using eikhorn flour for the first time.  It is an ancient grain, the precursor of modern wheat varieties.  The dough was very sticky and the gluten levels in the flour were low but I hope the taste will be good.   I made the roast dinner today as the others were at the rugby cheering on our grandson.
