Brighton treasure

I’m really fortunate to have come away for a few days with M. to his tech conference, and met up with another ‘conference wife’ this morning. She is from Israel, is a translator by profession, but loves historical costume. She found out that this building, Palmeira Mansion, was open to the public today. It was absolutely spectacular and I have hosts of blipworthy photos. So I chose this which combined the stained glass and the stunning wallpaper.

It was heavily influenced by a book I love, Owen Jones, The Grammar of Ornament. If ever you are in Brighton when it’s open, I’d highly recommend it.
