Intermezzo

After a quiet sleepy day of intermittent fevers on Friday, she rebounded Saturday morning and was full of energy.  We all bundled up and took her to a local play park where she was having a great time for about 30 minutes and suddenly faded, said she was too cold, (with which we all agreed) and wanted to leave.  On the short ride home, she started to cry that her ear hurt.  At home, Grandpa pulled out his otoscope and sure enough, she had a secondary ear infection.  Grandpa called in the appropriate antibiotics and after some alternating acetaminophen and ibuprofen, the ear discomfort was gone and she was able to sleep.
