Near Blackroot Pool, Sutton Park

A glorious day.  We called upon L's sister and husband and had a lovely walk in Sutton park, before settling down to some mulled wine and an impromptu risotto meal.  We were even joined by L' and her sister's mother to complete the family gathering.

We did feel a little guilty, the planned garden tidy up that they'd been due to carry out fell victim to their hospitality, but by all accounts the glint in L's brother-in-law's eye probably hinted that it was no great hardship (at least on his part).
