Mono Monday - Secret Weapon

The theme this week is 'secret weapon' so this is my Cobra Lily.  A carnivorous plant which has something otherworldly about it as it is unique in appearance and has an appetite for insects!
It's SECRET WEAPON is the hood which secretes an attractive scent to entice it's prey to enter.
Once inside they have difficulty getting out. Symbiotic midge larvae and bacteria living in the fluid assist the cobra lily in digesting the doomed bugs!!
