Scorched earth

On the 27th I posted a picture of Tricia doing battle wiith a bramble or two. Today the terrce has been, eventually, blitzed, although the bonfire is happily entering its third day. Amazing how much stuff a fire can dispose of although one wonders aboout the envirnnmental aspect. Most communes around here now ban fires but for some reason Sablieres out in the sticks has hung in there.
Off to the market in Les Vans and, for me, assorted  other shopping. On the return we thought a pizza was in order. However the restaurant we went to did not agree being shut until April. This set in train visits to three other shut restaurants. We were clearly lucky earlier in the week at Auberge de Peyre.
