Last rose of summer

Spotted this rose, still with ice crystals on, in the garden today.
 
While the cold spell looks like coming to an end it certainly wasn’t in evidence this morning in our yoga class held in our local church hall.
We had no, or very little, heating due to the quirkiness of the ground source heating system.
 
There seems to be no method of increasing the heat when needed yet this new system of heating will be compulsory in all new houses after 2025.
 
What’s more, in ten years time, I have been told we will all be required to install such systems.
