Sunrise in Bacolet

I awoke well before dawn to start making bread, and while waiting on the verandah with hot tea, binoculars and mobile, I was enjoying the play of first light on the clouds. I kept my bins focused on the horizon waiting for the moment. For the first time, I saw the 'green flash' just as the sun hit the horizon....amazing! I took a series of photos with my Blackberry 9900 and was amazed by the quality. I thought this one was worthy of entering the competition.
