Liberton Kirk

The day started as usual with the painters arriving at 7:45am. Architect came at 8:50 to look at the new cupola and I joined him on the (not slippy) roof. This was the view south to Liberton Kirk which is always noticeable for being high on a hill but usually you only see the spire.

My brother and sister in law arrived for breakfast from their hotel then we set off to the aunts house to start a major tidy up.

Over 4 hours later we had reclaimed a room, sorted through papers and many many photographs and visited the recycling centre. The menagerie of stuffed animals is growing.

A quiet evening at home ahead of my brother’s departure to Cromarty tomorrow. A busy but constructive day.
