The Holywood Trust Christmas Gathering took place at The Usual Place tonight. Staff and volunteers were there to move furniture, serve canapés and drinks, clear away, wash up and move the furniture back again so that the cafe is ready for action again tomorrow morning.

Here is the view from the bar during the speeches. We don't usually have wine on the counter..this is where the scones and cakes sit during the day.

I'll be back here tomorrow after I've dropped off my car for its MOT...
