So it begins ...

Ok, I’ve started. Finally. The first Christmas decoration is in place, a little decorated tree adorning the mantelpiece. It looks festive and jolly, and other colourful and glitzy items will join it next weekend.
Well it is December, so the time is right. Although the early signs of the festive season first started appearing months ago, as they seem to, ever earlier each year, I now finally feel ready to join in.
So how long have others’ Christmas decorations been on show?
