The positioning of this handmade poster made me laugh this morning. It's pasted onto a huge bus shelter ad for Tesco with very clear signage to the local Bruntsfield butcher nearby.
Apart from a meeting first thing, I spent most of the day with my Thursday students in: a 2-hour tutorial on exam prep; a 1-hour lecture with two excellent visiting speakers; and a 3-hour assessment for four students who were unable to take part in the exercise on 14th November (due to illness and bereavement).
It has been my last day of classroom teaching until next academic year. For quite a few of the students it was the last day of classes of their entire undergraduate careers. It's difficult to decide whether I should now be celebrating or sad. It's been hard work, but I have really enjoyed my class this term.
Exercise today: walking (16,634 steps).
