On The Harbour

The Boss and Me went to Waiheke Island today.
Its a lovely ferry trip about 40 minutes from the city and we passed these Yachties doing their thing in the morning sun. The island was fun and after a wonderfully healthy lunch of lemon and sugar crepes and Glacé ice cream we walked from Oneroa Beach back to the ferry terminal on a mostly off road trail in the bush. Lots of wonderful bird noise. The extra is the entrance to the bush bit. 
The Bossess who had arrived early from her meetings,  took us all on a train to NewMarket and the latest super retail complex for tea. 
The Boss has tired legs again. 
Tiny pawscript...The water continues to rise in Wanaka with rain in the hills continuing but only the central business area will be effected. No homes are in any danger.
