Happy Birthday!

It was The Mate's birthday today.In other years I have made a cake myself but this year I resorted to buying one. A salted caramel and chocolate cheesecake from Sainsburys.


"Baked Belgian chocolate cheesecake with injections of salted caramel sauce on a chocolate flavoured crumb, with a Belgian chocolate ganache and a Belgian chocolate decoration." With Carte D'Or vanilla ice cream and fresh double cream it couldn't fail to please!


The rest of the evening with drinks and a Black Adder video went well, too!
