Glowing

These two delphiniums are the only ones which escaped the depredations of the sulphur crested cockatoos.  The birds took a liking to them, and uprooted the lot, before we cottoned onto what was happening.  Now we have seen how glorious they are, we'll take better care next year.

It wouldn't be so bad if the wretched pests needed them for food.  They seem to think it's a grand game just pulling out plants and leaving them to die.
