Breakfast

High up in the Norfolk pine, the osprey nervously gobbles his meal, constantly looking over his shoulder between bites, head rotating back and forth. A couple of crows are perched higher up in the tree, screaming at him incessantly. This particular perch offers him a good vantage point and a relatively safe place to eat. Over the years I've seen several birds and several meals being consumed here. A little gruesome maybe, but fascinating to watch.
