Sinterklaas at the office

Sinterklaas is a Dutch traditional celebration. Kids will put their shoe in front of the chimney before they go to bed, sing a song about Sinterklaas and his helpers, and put a carrot or sugar cube in the shoe for Sinterklaas' horse. At night Sinterklaas and his helpers come by and put a present or some candy in the shoe.
My boss knows about the tradition, because his son in law is Dutch. So when I came at the office this morning, I found some slippers filled with delicious chocolates and a Sinterklaas song printed in Dutch. Very thoughtful! Of course I was nice and shared the candy with my colleagues. Hopefully they'll do the same when it's their turn at Christmas time.
