Baby Raccoons

Shy - huddled close - expectant.
Offspring endowed 
By their mother's long-earned expectancy.
Mama raccoon knows well 
The woman's soft - yet skittish heart.
It always yields eventually. 

Mama raccoon has been visiting again, bringing with her these two adorables. I couldn't resist getting the camera before I searched the fridge for leftovers to toss from the deck. Lumen is most interested. And I am most cautious regarding his interest.
