Bluebery Lake

Another weird day of sun and gray and all in between....this is a shot from the greenbelt again overlooking the lake locals affectionatley call Blueberry Lake although it's formal name is Larson Lake after the family who had the origianl blueberry farm here.  Land here was also farmed up untll early 1940's by Japanese families but they lost it all when they were put into interment camps because people feared they were unpatriotic after the bombing of Pearl Harbor....another sad case of fearing those looking different from the majority populations...at the time white, but this is changing in the United Stated.   As the populations becomes more diverse , more white folks seem to become fearful....thus "build a wall".....and on and on.  Walking at the greenbelt helps to keep me somewhat sane.
