River Exe

Today I was out with our local walking group.  They were walk one half of the Exeter Green Circle.  I was in two minds whether to do it as the weather forecast didn't look promising.  I was glad I did though as the sun came out frequently as did the rainbows but we managed to avoid most of the rain until about a mile from our destination.  An enjoyable walk starting close to the Exeter and Devon Crematorium and heading along part of the River Exe where we spotted some canoeists before we turned off towards the Marsh Barton Industrial Estate and on towards Alfington.  We were just in time for a coffee and cake at the local community club which was very lively and busy.  The it was back towards Exeter arriving at the Iron Bridge in time to do a little Christmas shopping at the Christmas Market before catching the bus back home.
