Uniting

Today I went to the local Uniting church. They are currently without a minister. However, a deacon has been given some money to start a drop in centre during the week for the mentally ill and socially isolated.
The congregation has embraced it with a passion and are providing breakfast and lunch three days a week.
I had heard about this initiative and went down to have a look and see how my congregation might be able to assist in the future.
