Christmas Parade

We went to the 17th Annual Providence Forge Christmas Parade this afternoon. It was a pretty afternoon with lots of sunshine and everyone was having a good time. It's weird to go now that our daughters are grown and not in the area but I loved seeing all the excitement the children were having--the ones in the parade as well as the ones watching it go by.  A little boy next to us who was probably about 3 years old was having a blast collecting all the candy that was thrown to him by the passing paraders. Sometimes it felt like it was raining candy. 

I had a hard time picking out a picture to post because I got so many, so I asked Willy for his opinion. His vote was for this station wagon based on the National Lampoon Vacation movie. It's usually parked out in front of a business in Barhamsville but it was fun to see it in motion.
