Creation of a shoe.

Today I met a shoe maker; to call him a cobbler would not do justice to the incredible skill that he employs to make a pair of lasts and shoes. Look at the layers of work here, which will soon be hidden behind a wood-smooth leather sole. His father taught him to make shoes from the age of 12. His shoes start at £3,500 a pair. They were beautiful.
