Elephant

This elephant is carved from some kind of stone. It is made in India. It is pretty small, about 1.5 inch high. The remarkable thing is that it is two-layered. Within in it is a smaller elephant carved from the same piece of stone. The sculptor has worked through the latticework of the outer layer.
