Trimmings: Tiny Tuesday
The snowflake angel is one of my smallest tree decorations. The same goes for my blue crocheted stars (which I still have to starch to make their points sharper!)
To make sure I understood the meaning and interpretation of 'Trimmings', I looked it up and found this:
"According to the Online Etymological Dictionary, use of the word trim to mean “decorate, adorn” is from 1540s. The related word, trimmings, meaning “adornments, accessories, etc.,” is from the 1610s."
So that's where the expression: 'to trim the Christmas tree' comes from!
Thank you to Carol for hosting today's challenge and for giving us seasonal prompts for this month of December!
