An elegant Edwardian shelter

On a grey day in Harrogate I was searching for some colour and inspiration. I settled for a shot of one of the attractive old wooden shelters, of which there are a few around the town.
They are rather old, as you can see from the date on this one. They have also been repaired numerous times to replace rotten wood and repair damage caused by vandals. This one used to have panels of glass to the left and right and (I think) above the seat backs, but they have now been removed. You can see where the white frames have been cut off. It would make a good bus shelter, but it is not close to any bus stop!
