Greeted by heavy sercurity, bag searches, ID requirements, hand stamps and questionnaires I wasn't sure what I'd let myself in for by deliberately not researching this in order to be more "random" with my week nights.

What was in store for us was "an old-fashioned evening of entertainment...two hours of sights and sounds, curated, compered and coordinated as one piece".

What we got were some awesome animations and 1950s (ish) film, a set by Jay Jay Pistolet whose use of a gramophone was very impressive, and a set by Noah and the Whale, who although took a few songs to get into, were very good. We were indeed entertained.

All in all, a weirdly successful Random Wednesday.
