A Parliament of Rooks

The weather has been absolutely crap again today and it wasn't until mid afternoon that there was any glimmer of light.
Jorgie and I both needed a good walk and we managed to stay dry until the last couple of minutes of our hour plus ramble
Walking back into the village I was looking at the shapes of the trees, now all devoid of their leaves, when I noticed a group of rooks.
One of the collective nouns for rooks (and owls) is a parliament, which on this Election Day seemed quite fitting.
