The end....

of a busy day and a loud election campaign..... 8.45 we made it to the polling station. One of her music service staff does polling day duties and was delighted to congratulate Katie on her NCO news.

It had been another day of a lie in from Katie, so we had failed with achieving as needed this morning and it was all a bit fraught.

I picked her up in the car because of the pouring rain and we got her fed, ready for dancing etc. She managed some practise - there’s a big run of performances from now through next week. She went to dancing, her first time back at that class since the show. And then a quick dash to the polls before bed. I could have gone earlier in the day but it’s important to me to take her as part of the process. She’s had a lot of questions this time.
