Midday today

It was a long night for everyone in Two Rocks, Marks house was full of people turning up wanting shelter for the night, as each street was evacuated.
All was quiet this morning, then by midday the wind and the heat was getting stronger, Mark sent this photo taken from his street, the fire had started up again, we could see the smoke again from our garden, the blaze is being held back by some very dedicated fire fighters, they are all still there watching and acting, Nadine was in work today, she teaches at Connolly Primary school, Mark stayed home with the children, he took them to the lagoon, as their school is still closed until further notice, they spent most of the day at the beach, it was much cooler there, we have just had our 3rd day of 40c, with a few more to come, they are expecting that it will take 4 days to get this blaze totally under control, with the wind changing direction it can become unpredictable, the helicopters and water bomber planes flew up and down the coats for most of the day. Fingers crossed it will be a quieter weekend.
Thank you all for your well wishes and concerns, everyone is safe, homes are safe and people are safe, everyone pulls together in times of need, and thats a good thing,
