Following on from yesterday's snow, today the temperature reached a balmy -3C with freezing fog. At least these crows seem upbeat.
Commissioned by Safeway's and made by Helen Denerly, they are made from old agricultural parts and reflect the sites former status as agricultural land.
As a group, crows show remarkable intelligence in fact crows and ravens often score very highly on intelligence tests. They are of course disliked by farmers due to their predilection for scavenging during lambing time.
I wonder if Helen was having a good old laugh when she made these.
