Christmas Rose

Unfortunately the buds on my hellebore are still clustered in around the stem of the plant where they are well protected by the tough, leathery leaves.

This hellebore, which I found in the garden centre, is in a pot and has probably been grown in a greenhouse so that it was in flower by Christmas.

Church concert tonight ..... a mixture of choral and instrumental items. We are very fortunate because a number of the students in our church are studying at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and they make a great core group in anything musical.
