By Icelandic Yrsa Sigurdardóttir. I had hoped for some Icelandic atmosphere, but actually this book could've taken place wherever in the world. With the exception of a mention of the Blue Lagoon once or twice.

It's a hefty book. Gruesome murders are being committed. Very original though. The plot is well thought of and is believable and unpredictable up until the end.

With a minor setback that the interactions between the main characters are too descriptive. Which put me off a bit.

Not enough to make me dislike it. Once I really got engrossed in the story I couldn't put it down any more.

Recommendable if you can stomach some horror happening to people.
