Copenhagen and Me.

Free Movement

Free movement allowed me to pop over to Greece 20 years ago and just decide to work there for a season. With just a quick visit to the hospital and the police I was at work, legally, within a day. When I then moved from Greece to Denmark it was equally straight forward - I never thought for a moment it would not be. With the staggering win the BJ managed, there will  be a deal, at least. Which will mean a transition period and hopefully some agreement on UK citizens living in the EU. Which, to be honest was all I cared about. The Conservatives have now taken ownership of Brexit, so that makes it easier to blame someone when it all proves to be a nightmare (by my prediction). The last positive that I can think of is that I can now accept I am clearly in a minority in believing membership of the EU has a nett benefit. I will now sit on the sidelines and say nothing but "I told you so" as the economy, personal wealth and happiness go down the tubes. Just to put in to perspective what "European socialism" does for personal wealth, I earn the same as a UK 2nd year junior doctor, except I am uneducated, get 6 weeks holiday and only work 34 hours a week. And I never wait in a passport que (except when visiting the UK).
