The Arrival Of The White Stuff

The sun was a light grey circle in a mass of dark cloud behind the sillhouette of the trees when I nipped out to the garden for a blip of it...and the odd flake of snow fell.

Half an hour later the sun was a grey splash in thin grey cloud behind the sillhouette of the trees when I nipped out to the garden for a blip of it...and it began to teem with tiny flakes of snow.

Fifteen minutes after that, when I took this from the safety of the window, it was seriously snowing big soft flakes which settled on the leaves of the Mahonia. (Seen better enlarged)
