Homegrown

One of two Lebanese cucumbers that are ready to pick. I raised seven plants from seed, but started two a few weeks before the others. They have plenty of flowers and fruit forming. The other five have a way to go yet, but they are doing well. Also ready to eat today is my first zucchini of the season. I raised them from seed too, all on my front room windowsill.

The cucumbers are in the greenhouse, but the zucchini are growing in the open.
