Hedge Cutting

California Girl returned today from Stirling after receiving more treatment to her back and a gin sampling session with Pat2.

After checking that my postal vote had been received, prepared to drive to Dundee to meet up with CG and her Christmas Gifts.

Mildly surprised to see that the road was blocked with stationary traffic. The cause was the hedge cutter working on the roadside hedges. However, the road miraculously cleared and I met up with Pat in good time.

Today’s Blipfoto shows traffic flowing freely and the newly cut hedges.

Walking along the pavement will be something of a challenge as all of the cuttings have been left strewn on the ground, which makes a change from the route being hampered by the growing branches.

I understand that late cutting of the hedges is beneficial to nature and wildlife.
