Enchanted Felbrigg

A very pleasant evening at Felbrigg Hall (National Trust), Norfolk.  Their winter event is Enchanted Felbrigg, which tells a story of winter, the Green Man, the Snow Queen, badgers, white crows, sparrows and hedgehogs - a charming take on some traditional pagan midwinter themes.  The gardens are transformed with lights, installations, sound, fire, a somnolent Green Man made of evergreens, illuminated papier mache creatures, animations on a huge outdoor screen, and a giant disco ball suspended from a tree.  All very enjoyable - and this was my favourite photograph from the evening: the stag and the hare, respectively representing the Green Man and the Snow Queen.
