Gingerbread men

After a morning of household tasks HtP and I walked into town for lunch. After a great lunch at the Bike Hub we walked back.

After many months of learning the songs Take Note has this evening performed them in a concert with the Basingstoke Male Voice choir. As we sing without words there is always that horrible thought that one can’t remember the words. So for some of the songs I’m desperately trying to remember them and for others it is easy. And as there is only 16 of us one feels very exposed. But people seemed to like us.

The concert was generating money for the Parkinson’s Disease charity. I hope that they raised lots of money.

As we left it was pouring with rain.

As we walked back to the car the Willis Museum and Sainsbury Gallery was lit up with winter scenes including the gingerbread men.
