Old espresso machine at the cukrászda.

This cukrászda has been around for donkeys' years...my wife used to come to the same place when she was at school. Now, it's about as popular as the P.M., which is a shame 'cos, as you can see, it's a groovy blast from the past. The espresso machine was made in 1961, and the owners of the shop have already promised it to the Museum of Applied Arts which, coincidentally is just down the road! The kakaós csiga that they make here is different from the standard...different type of pastry dough, so it was a bit of a change to have something that tastes as though it was baked rather than factory-manufactured.
