A walk in the park

It's not every day you hear the strains of bagpipes whilst walking through the park in Accrington.
I turned around to see the 'Pendle Sons of Ulster' coming down the steps from the war memorial where they had held a service.
It was a very chilly morning, but a few of them were wearing shorts.

We had a snowfall overnight, and the views towards Wharfedale on the drive over were stunning, although unfortunately there was no convenient place to stop to take a proper photo that wasn't snowbound. Today's extra phone shot was taken by my passenger out of the car window.
