On The Edge

Beautiful light in the late afternoon raked across newly formed ice along the lake shore. Yesterday the water was unfrozen and wind pushed the ice shoreward as it froze overnight leaving a ridge snaking its way towards me. I tried to bring out the light catching the side of the ridge and some of the colourful reflections.

I was not too happy about the texture of the ice. It doesn't seem quite natural. I'm not sure whether that's to do with LR's handling of X-Trans files, insufficient resolution, or perhaps clarity or sharpening.
